With new contracts secured across landfill and anaerobic digestion sites, theyre expanding their engineering team.This is a hands-on role for a Commercial Gas Engineer looking to break into (or build on) experience within biogas and renewable gas systems. If youve got solid gas qualifications and want something more technical than standard boiler workthis is where you level up.The RoleYoull be working across multiple client sites, supporting the maintenance, repair, and installation of biogas plant equipment.Day-to-day includes: Servicing and maintaining boiler plant, compressors, gas boosters, flare stacks, digesters, and heat exchangers Fault finding and repairing biogas systems and associated plant Supporting new installations and upgrades Carrying out gas and nitrogen purging Completing service reports and technical documentation Participating in a call-out rota for breakdowns and emergencies Working safely in line with RAMS and HSEQ standardsThis is a field-based role with autonomyexpect a mix of teamwork and lone working.What Youll Need Minimum 5 years experience in commercial gas engineering Current Gas Safe qualifications including: COCN1, ICPN1, TPCP1A, TPCP1, BMP1, CDGA1, CIGA1 Strong experience with commercial plant and pipework systems Comfortable working in confined spaces (training provided if needed) Full UK driving licenceNice to Have (Not Essential) Experience in biogas / anaerobic digestion / landfill gas OFTEC qualifications (101, 105, 600A, 201) Utilities or water industry background Knowledge of systems like SimPRO First Aid at WorkWhats in It for You Door-to-door pay youre paid from when you leave home Call-out allowance + enhanced overtime rates Company van (private use available) 25 days holiday + bank holidays Pension scheme Employee assistance programme Phone / allowance + full workwear providedWhy This Role?Lets be bluntstraight commercial gas roles are repetitive.
