Here at Driver Hire Southampton we are currently recruiting for experienced Class 1 Night Drivers to work on behalf of our clients specialising in general haulage deliveries.The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.About this Class 1 Night role:Ongoing work between Monday to FridayStart times vary between 6:00pm and 8:00pm (10-12-hour shifts)Deliveries and collections of palletised general haulage goodsDriving a Class 1 curtain sider (double decker & single deck)One delivery to main hub in the midlandsPallets are forklifted off the vehicleADR Qualification is beneficialRequirements from you as a Class 1 Driver:Full UK Class 1 licence with valid CPC and Digi cardMinimum of 1 year experience driving a Class 1 vehicleDouble decker experienceStrapping experienceExperience with curtain side trailers/ general haulage deliveriesOwn transport to commute to and from workFantastic time keeping and communications skillsComplete daily vehicle checksComply with the company's health and safety procedures and record Tacho hours correctlyBenefits of a Class 1 Driver working for Driver Hire Southampton:Weekly payPAYE or PAYE Advanced payment methodsOnsite parkingCPC and licence upgrading with Driver Hire Training xjdpvnf Consistent communication with our dedicated in-house teamTraining provided by our clientGenerous referral scheme24/7 supportDriver Hire Southampton is an agency which provides staff cover to a range of companies within the Southampton and Winchester area.
