You'll be moving away from the tools and into a position where your judgement, knowledge, and decision-making really make an impact.You'll be responsible for reviewing repair requests, validating claims against warranty policies, and ensuring every outcome is fair, accurate, and clearly communicated. Alongside this, you'll work closely with repairers, Customer Service, and independent engineers to keep the repair journey running smoothly for our customers.If you enjoy analysing problems, making informed decisions, and want a role with real progression opportunities, this could be a strong next move.ResponsibilitiesReviewing repair requests across warranty, cosmetic, tyre, and alloy claimsAssessing whether repairs are covered in line with policy terms and conditionsAnalysing evidence such as images, diagnostics, and repairer reportsValidating repairs and making decisions on approvals, declines, or alternative solutionsAuthorising smaller claims (up to 2,500) and managing approvals within agreed limitsEscalating higher-value or more complex cases where requiredInterpreting warranty plans and determining claim eligibilityEnsuring all decisions align with technical criteria and policy coverageCoordinating repairs and directing cases to the right repair partnersWorking closely with repairers to resolve issues and avoid delaysEscalating concerns where repairs fall outside expected standards or timelines About YouA time-served Motor Technician with strong hands-on experienceNVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or similarSolid understanding of general mechanical repairs and diagnosticsExperience within a warranty environment is highly desirableSomeone confident assessing repairs and making decisions against policy termsStrong attention to detail and analytical thinkingA clear communicator who can explain technical decisions to different audiencesA proactive, team-focused approach with a desire to progress About UsSubsidised Onsite ParkingA great working environment with free fruit and juice barsBirthday off!Onsite GymFree transport to and from Piccadilly Train stationFree Barista bar serving teas and coffeesExcellent career progression CarFinance 247 is an award-winning business just outside of Manchester City Centre.
