You'll work alongside class teachers to support all pupils, including those with SEN, deliver targeted interventions, and assist in creating a positive classroom environment.Key Responsibilities:Support pupils with SEN and additional learning needsAssist with small group and 1:1 interventionsHelp maintain classroom routines and positive behaviourContribute to lesson planning and pupil feedbackEncourage social, emotional, and academic developmentSkills & Experience:Experience with children is desirable but not essentialCalm, patient, and supportive personalityStrong teamwork and communication skillsEnthusiastic, adaptable, and keen to develop teaching skillsAbout the SchoolAbingdon primary schools are 2-3 forms of entry, with a welcoming and inclusive ethos.
