From delivering mental wellbeing sessions and university wellbeing cafs to using football as a tool for connection, youll help people build confidence, resilience and a sense of belonging. This is your chance to create meaningful change, empower others and be part of a team that puts wellbeing at the heart of everything we do.Key Duties;Plan and deliver wellbeing programmes, mental health support activities, and accessible drop-in services for students, including international students, at University of Leicester and De Montfort University.Provide a safe and welcoming environment, offering practical support, signposting, and referrals where necessary.Support individuals to develop healthy coping strategies, build resilience, and promote hope, self-worth, and purpose.Respond to community needs, designing flexible, culturally competent, and trauma-informed interventions.Be involved in creating and maintaining partnerships with the VCSE sector, statutory services, and community organisations to create integrated pathways of support.Promote a strengths-based model that focuses on the skills and assets of individuals, families, and communities.Safeguard the welfare of participants, ensuring compliance with LCitC safeguarding and health and safety policies.Work collaboratively with the universities student support services and wellbeing teams to ensure students receive the level of support required.Who Were Looking For:Mental health first aid qualificationFA Safeguarding CertificateFA Emergency First Aid CertificateExperience working with adults in a wellbeing capacity, or a community environmentAbility to develop sessions plans as required for targeted groups and evaluate your deliveryAbility to work on own initiativeExcellent communicator at a variety of levelsContract Type Fixed-TermHours Per Week18 hours per weekYou may be required to work outside of normal office hours, at evenings and weekends.Location LCitC is based at King Power Stadium, Leicester.
