As a Contracts Manager, you will take ownership of multiple refurbishment and planned works contracts across a range of sectors, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. They deliver projects across a wide range of sectors including social housing, defence, healthcare, education, and hotel & leisure. The business has experienced significant growth in recent years and has ambitious plans to continue expanding over the next four years. Key responsibilities include:Overseeing the management and delivery of multiple refurbishment and planned works contractsManaging projects across sectors including Healthcare, NHS, Education, Social Housing, Leisure/Hotels, Ministry of Defence and Local AuthorityPlanning and managing directly employed operatives, subcontractors and suppliersEnsuring all works are delivered safely, on time, to specification and within budgetManaging works within occupied environmentsBuilding strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teamsWorking to demanding timescales across multiple contracts and frameworksMaintaining strong commercial awareness across all stages of construction contractsEnsuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company proceduresUsing Microsoft packages and other IT systems effectively for reporting and managementThe successful Contracts Manager will have:Proven experience managing multiple contracts within refurbishment or planned worksStrong experience in contract administration, planning, estimating, and tender processesSolid understanding of Health & Safety regulations within constructionExperience managing staff, subcontractors and supply chainsExcellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationshipsAbility to work to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environmentNVQ Level 6 qualification (minimum requirement)A valid SMSTS certificationStrong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft OfficePlease note: An Enhanced DBS check will be carried out for the successful Contracts Manager. xjdpvnf This role would suit an experienced Contracts Manager looking to join a forward-thinking, growing organisation delivering high-quality refurbishment projects across the East Midlands.
