Working as part of the maintenance team, youll be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of their IVECO fleet ranging from 7.5T to 44T including Trailers, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and compliant with all road safety legislation.This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same youll diagnose faults, carry out planned servicing, and respond to urgent local breakdowns when required (Holiday cover only).Key Responsibilities:Carrying out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGVs and trailersDiagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faultsCompleting MOT preparation and ensuring vehicles meet DVSA standardsResponding to breakdowns and conducting roadside repairs where necessaryMaintaining accurate service and repair recordsEnsuring a safe and tidy working environment at all timesCandidate Requirements:NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & RepairProven experience as an HGV Technician/MechanicStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsKnowledge of health 'safety procedures and compliance requirementsFull UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamCompany Benefits:Competitive salary + overtime opportunitiesOngoing training and career developmentModern, well-equipped workshopSupportive team environmentIf you feel that you have the relative skills/attributes to fulfil this role then please apply now for immediate consideration.The employer fully supports Equality in Employment. xjdpvnf All employment is decided based on qualifications, merit and business need.
