Assistant Team LeaderWe are seeking a dedicated Assistant Team Leader to support a residential service delivering person centred care to adults with learning disabilities.Position: Assistant Team LeaderEnsure you read the information regarding this opportunity thoroughly before making an application.Salary: 24,176.27 per annumLocation: Lawford, Manningtree and Mistley (CO11 2NJ)Hours: 36 hours per weekContract: Permanent, Full TimeClosing Date: Please apply as soon as possibleAbout the RoleAs Assistant Team Leader, you will support the effective running of an eight bed residential service, working alongside the Team Leader to ensure high quality, person centred care is delivered at all times.Key responsibilities include:Supporting, guiding and mentoring staff, leading by exampleAssisting with rota management and day to day team coordinationUpdating care plans, risk assessments and support protocolsAdministering medication in line with proceduresProviding hands on care and support where requiredEnsuring care provision reflects a strong person centred ethosYou will work flexibly across a range of shifts to support both the team and the people who use the service.About YouYou will be passionate about delivering high quality care and supporting people to live fulfilling, independent lives.You will have:Level 2 qualification in Health and Social CareEither working towards or completed Level 3 in Health and Social CareExperience in a care setting supporting adults with additional needsStrong communication and organisational skillsThe ability to lead by example and support a team effectivelyA genuine commitment to person centred careAbout the OrganisationThis is an independent charity with over 50 years of experience providing residential and supported living services for adults with learning disabilities.
