We offer a wide range of products, including bulk and bagged animal feeds, pet foods, heating oil, LPG, timber, fencing, horse rugs, seeds or fertiliser, to name just a few.Job Purpose of Procurement ManagerWe are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Procurement Manager to work in our head office at Amotherby.In this role you will be responsible for the spend on a wide range of projects, from capital projects in property and maintenance, to stationery and office supplies. This role will need an individual who is self motivated, commercially focussed, confident to create and present a business case, and capable of building and maintaining relationships right across the business. Candidates must have previous procurement experience and be willing to work full time in the Amotherby office.Job Tasks for Procurement ManagerAnalyse existing spend across the business and be able to categorise that spend into meaningful insightDevelop tools to manage and measure spend effectivelyEffectively categorise spend and the supplier base and be able to create category strategies that drive behavioural changeBe responsible for full end to end sourcing and management of suppliers across all addressable spendIdentify key stakeholders across the business and work collaboratively at a high level to set spend strategyAccurately project savings and spend mitigation across the business.Work closely with the raw materials procurement team to project pricing trends in key spend areasNegotiate and record valuable agreements with suppliers that deliver value across product lifecyclesManage the writing and review of contracts upon reaching agreements with suppliersDevelop a contract management system usable across the businessPresent findings and strategy to the senior leadership team and work in a positive and professional manner in all interactions. xjdpvnf Ideally you will have the following qualifications and experience:Experience of working in utilities procurement is preferable though not necessary.CIPS qualifications are desirableMust have proven track record of creating savings in a Procurement role covering a high level of spendSalary: Up to 47,000 per annumBenefitsFree onsite parkingEmployee discountCycle to work schemeCompany pensionCompany Bonus - non-contractual, subject to performanceTraining and development opportunitiesCompany eventsIf you think you have the skills and experience we are looking for as a Procurement Manager, we would love to hear from you!
