We collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and specialist consultants to deliver high-quality developments and asset improvements.The Role:We are seeking an experiencedBuilding Surveyorto join our Manchester-based team.This is a varied role combiningbuilding surveying, project management, and development oversightacross a portfolio of commercial projects. You will play a key role in managing projects frompre-acquisition and planning stages through to construction, completion, and handover.The position will involve close coordination with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are deliveredon time, within budget, and to the required technical and regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:Preparespecifications, tender documentation, and contract administration servicesConductsite investigations, reviewing site history, vendor information, and commissioning searches and utility mappingOversee development ofarchitectural designs and statutory applicationsManage planning stages and coordinatespecialist consultant reportsincluding flood risk, noise, geo-environmental, drainage strategy, site remediation, and transportOversee and manage theconstruction programmeAdministerbuilding contracts, monitor site progress, and report through to completion and handoverManagesubcontractor procurement and ordersCarry outpre-acquisition surveys and schedules of conditionUndertakedefect analysis, identifying building pathology and producing technical reportsMaintain and strengthenexisting client relationshipsAbout You:The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge combined with project management experience within the commercial property sector. xjdpvnf Minimum requirements include:Ideally aqualified member of RICSwith a background inBuilding Surveying and Project ManagementMinimum5 years experience in building surveyingExperience inpre-acquisition building surveys and schedules of conditionFamiliarity withplanning and building regulation applicationsExperience indesign, refurbishment, and administration of building contractsKnowledge ofdefect analysis and building pathologyUnderstanding ofhealth & safety procedures, CDM, and DDAExcellentorganisational and workload management skillsAbility to produceclear, concise written reports and recommendationsClient-side project management experience would be advantageous.What We Offer:Salary of 50,000 60,000, depending on experienceOpportunity to work oncommercial office and industrial development projectsExposure to projects across thefull property lifecycleCollaborative and professional team environmentLong-term career development opportunities within the commercial property sector
