Skilled Maintenance TechnicianSalary: 30,000 per annum + Competitive BenefitsYou could be just the right applicant for this job Read all associated information and make sure to apply.Location: Surrey (site-based)Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Are you a hands-on, multi-skilled maintenance professional looking for a varied role in a unique and dynamic environment?Were working with a well-established and highly regarded organisation to recruit a Skilled Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, safety, and presentation of a large, visitor-focused site.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day, takes pride in their work, and thrives in an environment where no two days are the same.The RoleAs part of a dedicated facilities team, youll play a key role in ensuring buildings, grounds, and facilities are maintained to a high standard for staff, visitors, and stakeholders.Your responsibilities will include:Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across the siteCompleting basic mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, and building repairsUndertaking painting, decorating, and general upkeep tasksSupporting grounds maintenance including use of tools and machineryAssisting with event setup and breakdown (e.g. equipment, signage, barriers)Using a work order system (CMMS) to log and manage tasksWorking at height and outdoors in varying weather conditionsSupporting and coordinating volunteers and contractors on siteEnsuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety standardsWhat Were Looking ForWere keen to hear from candidates who have:Experience in a multi-skilled maintenance / handyman / facilities roleStrong practical skills across general building maintenanceBasic knowledge of mechanical and plumbing repairsA proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to get stuck inGood communication skills and the ability to work as part of a teamConfidence working in a busy, public-facing environmentA full UK driving licence (essential)Desirable (but not essential):Experience with CMMS / work order systemsLicences for equipment such as forklift, xjdpvnf MEWP, or PASMAKnowledge of CCTV, AV systems, or automated gatesAdditional InformationWeekend and bank holiday working may be required (time off in lieu provided)Occasional evening work may be requiredFirst Aid training will be provided (if not already held)Whats in It for YouA varied, hands-on role in a unique working environmentOpportunities to develop new skills and gain certificationsThe chance to work as part of a supportive and collaborative teamInvolvement in large-scale events and projectsIf youre a practical problem-solver who enjoys variety and takes pride in maintaining high standards, wed love to hear from you.
