This is a key site-based role responsible for overseeing operations, leading teams and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.This role offers the chance to take ownership of day-to-day site operations, leading teams of operatives and foremen across a variety of projects. Youll be at the centre of delivery, ensuring that work is planned effectively, resources are in place and productivity targets are achieved.Youll also play a key role in developing your team, supporting training and progression while maintaining a strong safety culture and high standards of workmanship across all activities. xjdpvnf What Youll Be DoingEnsuring all works are carried out safely in line with Health & Safety legislation and company standardsSupervising site teams, including foremen and operatives, to deliver works in line with programme and specificationPlanning and coordinating workloads to meet contract targets and optimise productivityOrdering materials and plant in a timely and cost-effective mannerManaging plant and equipment to ensure correct use, maintenance and availability on siteMaintaining accurate site records, including measurements, progress and operational dataLiaising with customers, client representatives and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project deliverySupporting the measurement and valuation of works alongside commercial teamsDriving continuous improvement and identifying opportunities for innovation on siteCarrying out site inspections and ensuring high standards of quality and workmanshipSupporting recruitment, onboarding and development of site operativesEnsuring compliance with company policies and procedures across all site activitiesWhat Youll BringPrevious experience in a supervisory role within construction, surfacing or civil engineeringStrong understanding of site operations, health & safety and quality standardsAbility to lead and motivate teams to achieve performance targetsStrong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesGood communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and teamsA proactive and solution-focused approach to problem solvingAttention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workKnowledge of plant, materials and site processesMake your application after reading the following skill and qualification requirements for this position.We are committed to building a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
