We are looking for a Tyre Fitter to join us at Mercedes-Benz of Guildford. The main purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and professional service, ensuring that we are prepared to supply and fit tyres as and when required. You will have previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment and take pride in completing work on time to the satisfaction of the customer. You will promote the Mercedes-Benzbrand image through reliable and cost-efficient work. Relevant NVQ qualifications are preferable.You can get further details about the nature of this opening, and what is expected from applicants, by reading the below.Main Duties:Inspect tyres and related components in accordance with Company standardsRepair / Replace tyres Balance tyres and wheelsIdentify faults in vehicle stability and tyre wear. Checking and servicing the steering system and suspension, identifying and interpreting tyre and rim regulations, making adjustments, completing post-alignment checks and road testing.Liaise with Service Team Manager regarding road worthiness of customers vehicles.
