Location: CarlukeAre you the right applicant for this opportunity Find out by reading through the role overview below.Job Type: Full-time Temporary to Permanent Hygiene SupervisorShifts: Day shift either 6AM - 2PM or 8AM - 4PMPay Rate: 13.74 per hour.Start Date: ASAPThis is a key leadership role, responsible for supervising hygiene staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring compliance with site and industry regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise the hygiene team across all cleaning activities, ensuring high standards are consistently achieved.Plan, monitor and record daily, weekly and deep clean schedules within production, equipment, and facility areas.Ensure all hygiene operations meet BRC, HACCP, and company food safety requirements.Train, support and develop hygiene operatives to maintain best practice.Conduct hygiene audits and inspections, addressing non conformance and implementing corrective actions.Ensure safe use of chemicals, equipment, and correct PPE at all times.Work collaboratively with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to minimise downtime and ensure safe operations.Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records.RequirementsPrevious experience as a Hygiene Supervisor or Senior Hygiene Operative in a food production or manufacturing environment is essential.Strong knowledge of food safety standards including HACCP and BRC.Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.Excellent attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.Strong communication, organisation and problem solving skills.Ability to work in chilled, fast paced environments.Confident using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.Flexible with shift patterns (days or back shift options available). xjdpvnf Long term, stable opportunity with potential progressionIf you are interested, please submit your CV and call our office for an immediate interview on Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
