Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer -Leeds - 45-55K + Excellent BenefitsHave you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer to join a leading, employee-owned multi-disciplinary consultancy based in Leeds.Operating at the forefront of the built environment, the business delivers high-quality Civil, Structural and Geoenvironmental Engineering services across a wide range of sectors throughout the UK. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer with 510 years experience to support and lead project delivery nationwide.The RoleAs a Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer, you will take a lead role in delivering geoenvironmental projects, providing technical expertise and supporting both infrastructure and structural engineering teams.Key responsibilities include:Leading the production of Phase I & II geoenvironmental reportsDesigning and managing ground investigation projectsOverseeing site works, including logging of soil and rockDeveloping remediation strategies and options appraisalsManaging project budgets, programmes and subcontractorsLiaising with clients, regulators and stakeholdersMentoring and supporting junior team membersEnsuring all work meets health, safety and environmental standardsAbout YouDegree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering or similar5+ years post-graduate experience in a consultancy or contractor environmentWorking towards or achieved Chartered status (Geological Society, CIWEM, CIEH or similar)Strong knowledge of contaminated land, geotechnical engineering and site investigationsExperience with ground investigation design and reportingUnderstanding of DQRA assessments (desirable)Excellent report writing and communication skillsStrong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projectsFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel/work awayThe OpportunityThis is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer looking to progress their career within a forward-thinking, employee-owned consultancy, offering exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects and clear career progression. xjdpvnf If you are a motivated Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer with a passion for the built environment, we would love to hear from you.Alcea Consultancy are acting as an employment business/agency in relation to this vacancy.Key Words: "environmental engineer", "Geo-Environmental engineer", "Geotechnical Engineer", geoscientist
