Electrical TechnicianContract Duration: 5 monthsLocation: YorkPay Rates:Umbrella Pay Rate: 26.07 per hour / PAYE Pay Rate: 20.93 per hourRole Overview:Running of cables and terminate cables in control panels.Repair and reassemble components following technical guidelines.Modifications of Electrical components of engineering harnessSupporting with the completion of repairs, modifications, commission within a well-equipped rolling stock depotWith minimal supervision undertake Modification of the allocated rolling stock to meet the requirements of the modification and production plan.Undertake any other duties as and when required within the scope of the modification and production workWorking underneath the specified engineering instructions and drawings, following the methods and tooling specified within them.Knowledge & Experience:Must have relevant experience in an engineering environmentAbility to complete all records of actions and operations accurately and to proceduresKnowledge of Health & Safety including bio-hazards, manual handling and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)Ability to use a laptop for diagnostic purposesAbility to understand and interpret relevant technical publicationsKnowledge of Health & Safety including biohazards, manual handling and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH)Ability to understand and care for tools, equipment, and PPEAbility to understand and interpret relevant technical publicationsAbility to use a laptop for diagnostic fault finding and rectification purposeCheck all associated application documentation thoroughly before clicking on the apply button at the bottom of this description.All PPE provided and Health and Safety explained before and on site.Rullion supports applications from a diverse talent pool.
