The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a mixed fleet of commercial vehicles, ensuring all maintenance, inspections, and repairs are carried out efficiently and to the highest standard.Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel, although all candidates will be considered.Duties and Responsibilities:Carry out servicing, inspections, and repairs on HGVs in line with DVSA standards.Conduct 6-weekly PMIs, MOT preparations, and brake tests.Diagnose and rectify faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.Maintain and repair hydraulic, electrical, engine, gearbox, and braking systems.Complete defect reports and ensure timely, cost-effective maintenance.Carry out small repairs on light plant equipment when required.Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate with senior management on vehicle availability, costs, and incidents.Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently within given timescales.Skills and Qualifications:Strong knowledge of DVSA regulations and inspection standards.Competent in the use of diagnostic tools and modern vehicle systems.Experience with a range of manufacturers and hydraulic systems.Ability to work independently and under pressure to tight deadlines. xjdpvnf Full UK driving licence (required).
