HGV Class 1 Driver People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Halesowen . Shifts: Days: Monday Friday: start times between 05:00-06:00 Nights: Sunday to Thursday: start times between 18:00-19:00 Rates of Pay: Days:17.00 per hour Nights: 18.50 per hour Benefits: As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will receive: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay Genuine temp-to-perm opportunities Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties: As a HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): Depot-to-store delivery- maximum of two drops Carry out a maximum of two store deliveries per shift using a pump truck or by toting pallets off as required Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly Adhering to traffic laws, company procedures, and delivery schedules Essential Skills: As a HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need: Valid UK Category CE driving licence Minimum of two years' experience driving Category CE driving experience No more than six penalty points for minor infringements Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card Good spoken and written English Training: Industry related training provided and ongoing support throughout Apply: If you are an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for a stable role with excellent pay and long-term opportunities, apply today to be considered.
