This is a hands-on role working with multi-axis CNC sliding head machines (Citizen/Swiss-type).Key Responsibilities:Full machine setup including tooling, fixtures, and datum settingOperating multi-axis CNC turning / sliding head lathesEditing G-code (Fanuc preferred) and adjusting offsetsPerforming first-off inspection and in-process quality checksUsing micrometers, verniers, calipers to ensure tight tolerancesOptimising speeds, feeds, and cycle timesMaintaining production output, quality, and safety standardsRequirements:Proven experience as a CNC Setter / Operator / CNC TurnerStrong background in turning (NOT milling)Experience with sliding head / Swiss-type CNC machinesAbility to read engineering drawingsExperience with G-code / Fanuc controlsConfident using precision measuring equipmentExperience working with metal components in a manufacturing environmentDesirable:Experience with Citizen or Star sliding head machinesCNC grinding exposureBackground in precision engineering / aerospace / automotiveThis role offers a stable, hands-on position with a strong focus on technical ownership, quality, and production efficiency. xjdpvnf Apply now to be considered.
