Job title: Fostering Operations ManagerAll potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application.Reporting to : Director/ Responsible Individual and working alongside Registered Manager Key role and responsibilitiesTo develop policies and procedure that provide responses and interventions at a higher level in complex situations, within statutory guidelines and the statutory obligations of the AgencyTo quality assure reports and documents to ensure appropriate evidence-based evaluation and evaluation of risk is evident on the foster carers and childrens filesTo provide and share focused and purposeful social work interventions and identified frameworks, with explicit aims and objectives, about desired outcomes within the context of managing risk to childrenSupervise senior social worker and administration staffTo help in the appraisal of the panel chair, and panel membersTo mentor social workers and provide support to the Registered Manager and provide professional consultationsTo take active part to grow and scale up the business by commissioning more foster carers and developing positive working relationships with local authoritiesTo help panel operations are run smoothlyTo help with complying with Ofsted requirements and support the Director and registered ManagerTo review foster carers suitability to continue to fosterTo work within agreed targets and budgets to ensure the successful running of the provisionTo hold xjdpvnf Registration with Social Work England and work closely with the senior management team to ensure the highest quality of care for young people2. Essential Requirements Hold a recognised social work qualification; Ideally have a NVQ Level 5 in Management or equivalentExperience working at a senior management level within fostering and have a high quality commercial/business acumenMust have experience of working in an Independent Fostering Agency
