Field Service EngineerDo not wait to apply after reading this description a high application volume is expected for this opportunity.Belfast40,000 50,000 + Overtime (60k to 70k) + Van + BenefitsThe BusinessOur client is a well-established plant hire and machinery specialist in Northern Ireland, supporting a wide range of customers across construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.They operate a modern and diverse fleet including heavy plant, powered access, and general hire equipment, with a strong reputation for reliability, service, and long-standing client relationships.The RoleAs a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of machinery across customer sites.This is a mobile role, working on everything from heavy plant to powered access equipmentideal for someone who enjoys variety and autonomy.Key Responsibilities: Service, maintenance, and repair of heavy plant and powered access equipmentDiagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systemsAttend breakdowns and carry out reactive repairs on-siteComplete routine inspections and preventative maintenanceWork independently across multiple customer sitesEnsure high standards of health & safety and customer service The Candidate Proven experience working on heavy plant, powered access, or similar equipmentStrong fault-finding skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systemsExperience in a field-based xjdpvnf or mobile role (preferred)Full UK driving licenceNVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent (desirable)Positive attitude, reliable, and able to work independently What's on Offer Competitive basic salary with strong overtime potentialCompany van + fuel cardOngoing training and developmentStable, long-term opportunity with a respected local businessOpportunity to work on a wide variety of equipment
