Their genuine passion drives the creation of delectable products for UK consumers, prominent retailers, and our thrilling market-leading brands such as Wall's Pastry, Squeaky Bean, and Unearthed.Role Details:Working Hours:Monday Friday, flexible hoursRole Type:Permanent, Full Time RoleLocation:Thorne, DoncasterSalary:Up to 36,400Your Duties Will Include: Lead and manage the Quality Assurance team across all shift patternsChair shift handovers and quality meetings; attend daily operations meetingsPlan and allocate resources to meet production targets within defined parametersManage plant shutdowns to ensure food safety standards, including low micro and gluten-free complianceImplement, monitor, and review quality systems to meet agreed safety and quality standardsTrack, analyse, and present technical KPIs weekly to drive continuous improvementSupport operations through daily meetings and regular factory walkaboutsEnsure GMP, CCP, and internal audits are completed as scheduledMaintain compliance with company policies and procedures, taking corrective action where requiredLead investigations into incidents, non-conformances, and customer complaints in a timely mannerManage site logs and reporting systems (stock on hold, foreign bodies, non-conformance, GMO)Support consumer complaint investigations, cleaning validations, and annual allergen validationsOversee monthly traceability exercises to completionCollaborate cross-functionally (engineering, production, warehouse) to drive quality standardsParticipate in customer and BRC auditsCoordinate pest control activities and related review meetingsMaintain Quality Assurance Standards documentationAttend HACCP and Gluten-Free team meetingsSupport the Technical Manager and carry out ad hoc investigations and dutiesAbout You: Experience in a Quality Supervision / Management role within food manufacturingHACCP Experience (Level 3+)Food Safety (Level 3 +)Internal Auditing Experience including BRC and Retailer auditing experience.Customer focusedExcellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise individual and team workloadFamiliar with global Food Safety Standards BRC V8 +TESCO TFS and other retailer standardsPragmatic approach to problem solvingKnowledge of microbiological requirements, transfer roues and controlsKnowledge of retailer requirements, alerts and technical documentationHigh level of computer system packages (excel, word)Up to date knowledge of food legislation and its interpretationWhy Join Us?AtThe Compleat Food Group, we believe our people are the heart of our success.
