Overview A Hands-On Leadership Role in a Dynamic Butchery EnvironmentSofina Foods is currently seeking an experienced and driven Butchery Supervisor to take a key role in supporting daily butchery operations while leading and motivating a team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled butcher looking to step into a leadership role with a focus on quality, customer service, and operational efficiency.As Butchery Supervisor, you'll be involved in all aspects of meat preparation, stock management, customer service, and team development—ensuring we maintain the highest standards of presentation and hygiene.Responsibilities Prepare a wide variety of meat cuts to meet company and customer standardsSet up and maintain the butchery counter with care and attention to qualityServe and advise customers with professionalism and a helpful attitudeManage stock rotation, deliveries, and relevant paperworkMaintain a clean, organised, and compliant work environmentSupport and train team members, fostering a positive, results-driven atmosphereAssist with product sampling, promotions, and visual merchandisingStep in to support the Store or Site Manager when requiredUse basic IT systems to manage operational tasksThe Ideal Candidate Solid experience in butchery, ideally in a retail or food production settingPrevious experience in a supervisory or leadership role (preferred)A good understanding of food safety, hygiene, and legal standardsStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsMotivation to drive sales and maintain high visual standardsConfidence in coaching, motivating, and guiding a teamThe ability to work under pressure and take initiativeBenefits Competitive ratesOn-site parkingCompany pensionReferral programmeCompany Information Sofina Foods isn't just a food company—it's a place to build your future.With a team of over 13,000 people across 40 sites in Canada and Europe, we're passionate about delivering quality meat and seafood products to consumers around the world.
