Job Description

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining plant equipment and facilities, ensuring compliance with electrical standards, and supporting operational excellence initiatives.If you're passionate about operational excellence, sustainability, and working cross-functionally to deliver results, we'd love to hear from you.Key responsibilitiesPerform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production machinery and electrical systemsDiagnose and repair electrical faults on plant equipment, control systems, and automationSupport rapid response to breakdowns to minimise production downtimeRead and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and PLC logic (where applicable)Carry out electrical maintenance on site infrastructure, including:Lighting systems (internal & external)Power distribution boards and circuitsHVAC and building services systemsFire alarm and emergency lighting systemsInstall new electrical circuits, containment systems, and equipmentSupport facility upgrades, expansions, and layout changes (machines, offices, utilities)Perform electrical testing, inspection, and certification where requiredAssist with contractor supervision and project work on site electrical installationsEnsure compliance with building regulations, electrical standards, and site policiesMaintain accurate maintenance logs, reports, and system recordsPlease note the above duties and responsibilities are not intended to be an exhaustive list.
