The Floorbrite Group is committed to creating a work environment that is diverse and is proud to be an equal opportunity employerWhat youll be doingResponsibilitiesBuilders Cleans, Industrial Jet Washing, Carpet Cleaning, Strip and Seals.To clean and prepare all areas for which you are responsible for following the required policies and procedures, ensuring that the location is clean, pleasant, and safe for customersSupporting the clean teams on various sites by way of covering sickness, holidays, some general knowledge of checking over machinery and having the ability to check and audit the cleaning under the instruction of the Area ManagerTo be responsible for cleaning areas as allocated by the Cleaning Supervisor/Area Manager/ Site Manager (this may vary from time to time)To use cleaning materials as instructed by the Cleaning Supervisor/Area Manager/Site ManagerTo vacuum all carpeted areas and to wash or mop the floors of toilets in designated areas (machine clean where necessary).To sweep all the uncarpeted floors thoroughlyTo empty and clean bins and remove waste to designated areasTo spot-clean spillagesTo dust and wash surfaces carefully each day with clean dusters/cloths, including desks, seats, ledges, skirting boards and other places where dust settlesTo regularly clean toilets and hand basins and to replenish necessary toiletries including toilet paper and hand soap etcTo wash off dirty marks from wall tiling and mirrorsOn occasions to carry out periodic cleaning of all internal surfaces and windows, including internal doorsReport all defects/hazards immediately to Cleaning Supervisor/Area Manager/Site ManagerTo comply with COSHH, Manual Handling, Risk Assessment, Colour Coding and any other Cleaning Policies in the Academy and relevant sitesWhat skills & experience youll bring to the teamExperience in Builders Cleans, Industrial Jet Washing, Carpet Cleaning, Strip and Seals.Carry out all cleaning tasks in accordance with the cleaning scheduleTake ownership of Health and Safety for yourself and others at workComplete all work in accordance with current legal Health and Safety requirementsEnsure any appropriate warning signs are always in useObserve and comply with site rules and regulations at all timesMaintain equipment and materials in a clean and safe working orderReport all machine and building faults to line managerRespond courteously to customer and management requestsUndertake any other duties requested by line managersKnowledge and use of high-speed buffing machines/strip and sealing This is not a contractual document and is subject to variation from time to time as circumstances dictate. xjdpvnf This job description summarises the main duties and responsibilities of the post and is not a full and exhaustive list of tasks.
