About The RoleLike the look of this opportunity Make sure to apply fast, as a high volume of applications is expected Scroll down to read the complete job description.JOB TITLE: LAND SURVEYORDIVISION: Civil EngineeringLOCATION: Oxfordshire / Home CountiesBENEFITS: Car Allowance | Pension | Life Assurance | 35 Days Holiday + moreGRAHAM is growing and we are now looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to join our Civil Engineering team.This is a fantastic opportunity to work on major highways and civil engineering schemes within a collaborative, supportive environment.What are some of the key responsibilities of our Land Surveyor?Youll play a key role in providing accurate survey data to support design, construction, planning and quality assurance activities across the project. Responsibilities may include:Conducting land and topographical surveys, including distance, angle and elevation measurementsProducing and processing digital mapping using AutoCAD, NRG and GIS toolsCarrying out cut & fill calculations, stockpile volumes and earthworks reportingSetting out and establishing control networks using GPS, Total Stations and laser equipmentDelivering as built surveys, deformation monitoring and hydrographic surveysCoordinating with Site Engineers on design changes, priorities and inspectionsManaging survey records and assisting with drone and laser scanning activitiesWhat were looking for from you: Proven experience on civil engineering projects highways experience is a strong advantageCompetent with modern survey instrumentation and CAD softwareStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical dataA collaborative, proactive team player with excellent communication skillsOur CommitmentAt GRAHAM, we are proud to say that we are a committed Equal Opportunities Employer and we aim to be the first choice for people from all backgrounds.
