2 x posts available CONSULTANT IN KIRKLES Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Folly Hall Mills, St Thomas Road, Huddersfield, HD13LT Permanent, full‑time, 10 programmed activities per week plus on‑call. Part‑time may be considered. Job Summary South West Yorkshire Partnership Foundation Trust is recruiting a Consultant Psychiatrist for our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service at Folly Hall Mills. The candidate will provide timely, safe and effective care in an outpatient setting, leading multidisciplinary assessment, consultation and treatment of young people across neurodevelopmental, learning disabilities, crisis, eating disorders, and core CAMHS pathways. Key ResponsibilitiesLead clinical assessment, consultation and treatment for young people attending the CAMHS outpatient service. Co‑ordinate and support multidisciplinary team working and liaison with external agencies. Deliver clinical leadership, monitor service quality and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Provide teaching and training for undergraduate and postgraduate staff where appropriate.Salary and Benefits The starting salary is aligned with point 04 of the consultant pay scale (£119,490‑£145,478). Included on the GMC Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or within six months of gaining CCT. Approved clinician status or able to achieve within three months of appointment. Approved under S12 or able to achieve within three months of appointment. Eligible for Disclosure and Barring Service check and Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975. For non‑UK nationals, this role meets the minimum requirements for UK Visas and Immigration sponsorship.Legal and Health Requirements All staff are strongly encouraged to be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19 to protect patients.
