Job Title: Tipper Driver Location: Ringwood / Bournemouth Salary: Competitive Job type: Full Time, Permanent Excalon is a privately owned company established in 2002. With recent new business wins with multiple major clients adding to our existing portfolio of framework agreements and ongoing Major Projects, this is a particularly exciting time to join our business. The role: Excalon has a great opportunity for a competent Tipper Driver to be based from Ringwood / Bournemouth. You will be required to work 47.5 hours from 7.00am to 5.30pm (Monday to Friday) though the nature of the role requires flexibility to work additional hours on occasion to meet the needs of the business. Some weekend overtime available. Purpose of the Role Accountable to the Operational Managers and working as part of a wider team you will be a strong team player and will work closely with the on-site operational teams within a busy highways environment. You will uphold company values and will follow all related health and safety processes and procedures to keep yourself, your team, and members of the public safe at all times. Essential Criteria You will need to be a competent tipper driver used to working on utilities in a busy highways environment. HGV2/Class 2 licence Essential (Class 1 desirable) Driver CPC & CPCS Grab Ticket / Clamshell Previous experience working in utilities in a busy highways environment - (2 years desirable) Effective communicator Hours of Work Operational hours are 7am to 5.30pm (47.5 hours) though some flexibility may be required on occasion to meet the needs of the business.
