Our client in Blackburn is looking to recruit an Upholsterer for a permanent role out of their manufacturing and distribution site.Read on to fully understand what this job requires in terms of skills and experience If you are a good match, make an application.The role will involve:Upholstering various furniture frames including sofa beds, chairs, sofas and bedsUsing materials including leathers, velvets and high-end fabricsChecking work orders to determine amount of material neededFollowing drawings and designsDeep buttoning, piping and finishingMeasure and cutting of materialsThe working times and pay:Monday to Friday07:30-16:30 and 07:30-12:30 on Fridays (Part-time can be considered)39 hours per week after breaks13.00 - 15.00 per hour dependent on experience, reviewed after 3 months12 week temp to perm roleSkills/Experience Needed:Previous upholstery experience with sofas and beds essential2-3 years upholstery experienceWorked in the same industry recently or within the last 3 yearsAbility to read designs, measure materials and cut where neededIf you are interested in this role please apply through the advert with an updated CV.Please note CVs which are not up to date will be rejected.
