Through our school and college, we offer students the opportunity to fully take part in life and achieve their aspirations.We are looking to recruit a reliable Porter to join our outstanding Estates team, ensuring the smooth running of the site by undertaking a wide range of tasks. Responsibilities You will provide a responsive, flexible service to students, staff and visitors which will include duties such as:Following opening procedures at the start of each dayLoading and unloading deliveries, and distributing goods and supplies around the siteRoom set ups for activities and classes, including moving furniture & equipment around siteSwimming pool maintenance & cleaningAssisting with weekly fire alarm testing and checking emergency lightingPortable Appliance Testing About youThe successful candidate should have experience of either Portering or Caretaking (or similar duties) along with the ability to carry out duties such as cleaning, repair/maintenance work, to work as a team or on their own initiative and be able to adapt and respond to a variety of tasks.What we can offer you:We love rewarding our team for their hard work and success, so we offer a generous benefit scheme to reflect this: 27 days holiday per year + bank holidays Our wellness program offers health incentives, including discounted gym memberships and complimentary yoga classes.
