World Wide Technology EMEA has an opportunity available for a Azure DevSecOps Consultant with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure to design, implement, and manage secure cloud solutions that align with industry best practices and compliance frameworks. The successful candidate will combine technical mastery of Azure security services with hands-on experience in CI/CD, IAM, and network security, enabling the organization to build resilient, compliant, and scalable cloud environments., please see requirements below . This is a contract Role & Inside IR35 Azure DevSecOps Consultant Contract Duration : 6 months Contract Location: Ipswich, United Kingdom (Hybrid with 3 days onsite per week) Key Responsibilities: Architect and implement secure Azure environments, integrating DevOps and CI/CD pipelines with security gates. Develop and enforce Policy as Code, IAM, and privileged access security controls. Manage Azure security services (Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Azure Policy) and ensure robust network security (VNETs, NSGs, Firewalls, VPN/ExpressRoute). Oversee data protection, secrets management, and container security (AKS). Integrate SAST/DAST/SCA tools into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate on compliance (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR). Qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on cloud security experience with Azure. Proven expertise in secure architecture design and DevOps integration. Strong knowledge of IAM, Conditional Access, MFA, and PIM. Familiarity with security tools (MS Defender, Palo Alto Prisma) and compliance frameworks. Relevant certifications: AZ-500, AZ-400, CCSP (preferred) Preferred Qualifications Industry-recognized security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CRISC). Exposure to multi-cloud environments, including AWS or GCP. Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, or Bash. Candidates will be required to go through background checks before commencing contract. Must be eligibleto live and work in the specifiedwork location. Some occasional travel maybe required.
