The Play Company International Ltd - Kingsbridge TQ9 7QQ Job title Steel Store Cutter/Machinist Reporting to Production Manager Salary 15.00 per hour Hours of work Monday to Thursday. 07:00 hours to 17:30 hours. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: CNC Steel Cutter/Operator Review drawings, designs, and specifications to ensure precision in the final product. Inspect finished products and ensure that they meet specifications. Create custom parts based on customer requests or design specifications. Maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Communicate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot production problems and find solutions. Requirements: Apprenticeship in engineering preferred. Experience of metal/steel cutting using CNC machine GCSE or above in Maths and English. Experience in machining, metalworking, or related field required. Ability to read 2 D and 3 D drawings is essential. Experience with manual and computer-controlled machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders. Experience with CAD/CAM software preferred. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and mathematical abilities required.
