Oncology Homecare Nurse Covering Berkshire 43,700 + fully expensed company car and fuel card Full time 40 hours per week Being an Oncology Homecare Nurse is more than just a job its an opportunity to make a real difference in peoples lives. You will support patients in their own homes or in mobile clinics, helping to reduce the stress, travel, and long waiting times often associated with hospital visits. You will be a vital part of the care team, providing comfort and reassurance to patients and their families. In this role, you will deliver high-quality care at the forefront of oncology services. Your responsibilities may include blood tests, toxicity assessments, IV and oral chemotherapy, pump disconnections, line care, and IM/SC injections. We value clinical excellence and provide the guidance and support you need to deliver safe, personalised 1-to-1 care, while also offering the autonomy to manage your own patients effectively. The Role As an Oncology Homecare Nurse, you will support patients throughout their treatment journey in the comfort of their own homes, as well as in mobile units or clinics where required. Your responsibilities will include: Administering IV chemotherapy, oral chemotherapy, immunotherapy and supportive treatments Carrying out blood draws, toxicity assessments, and cannulation Managing central lines, pump disconnections, and IM/SC injections Delivering high-quality, patient-focused care in line with clinical protocols Planning and managing your own daily schedule and travel between patients This role offers a high level of autonomy, supported by a strong clinical and operational team, enabling you to focus on delivering safe and effective care.
