Working Team Leader Landscaping & Multi-Trade Jobs in Newton Abbot (Devon & South West) Full-Time, Permanent | Newton Abbot Working Across Devon, with Some Projects in Cornwall & Somerset (Residential Projects) | Salary: 34,000 38,000 + Project-Based Bonus About the Role Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Working Team Leader (Landscaping & Multi-Trade) to head up a 2-person crew delivering high-quality residential outdoor transformation projects across Devon and the wider South West. This is a genuinely rewarding, varied role no two projects are the same. You'll be leading from the front, working hands-on alongside your team whilst taking ownership of the project from start to finish. Projects range from single-day installs to 4-week transformations, and all work is carried out on private residential properties, so a polished, professional approach is essential. Your Responsibilities Lead and manage a 2-person team on-site across a range of residential landscaping and groundworks projects Liaise directly with clients throughout the project you'll be their main point of contact on the ground Sign off preparation works and finished installations via our digital customer portal (company iPad provided) Communicate consistently with the office and Operations Manager throughout each project Uphold quality standards on every job your name is on the finish Ensure safe working practices are maintained at all times Support the training and development of your team operative Skills & Experience Required We're looking for a Working Team Leader with solid, demonstrable experience across most or all of the following: Carpentry Brickwork Landscaping Slabbing & paving Groundworks Advantageous (full in-house training available for the right candidate): Resin Bound surfacing Artificial Grass installation Composite Decking What We're Looking For Proven experience in a team leader, foreman or supervisory role (trade background essential) Outstanding customer-facing skills you'll be working in people's homes and gardens daily Excellent communication at all levels clients, your team, and our office Strong attention to detail and pride in a high-quality finish Organised and reliable with the ability to manage your day independently Full UK driving licence (essential) What We Offer Competitive salary: 34,000 38,000 per year Project-based bonus scheme earn more when projects go well Company vehicle provided (after probation period) Company iPad all project sign-offs handled through our client portal Bank holidays off In-house training and upskilling including Resin Bound, Artificial Grass and Composite Decking Supportive, growing company where your work is genuinely valued All work is based from Newton Abbot, covering Devon, with some projects in Cornwall and Somerset, on private residential properties.
