The focus of this role will be supporting the engineering capability of the new systems through design phases.Main ResponsibilitiesAct as Electrical Discipline lead for the projectCollaboration across engineering functions and stakeholders to integrate designs within the overall facility layout and manage interfacesCollate and prioritise technical design issuesUndertake coordination activities to ensure a fully integrated facility designIdentify scope gaps and support resolutionWork closely with Project Managers and Package Technical LeadsReport on project status to Head of DepartmentLead as intelligent customer on discrete packages of workExperienceHighly regulated environment (essential)Electrical engineering background, preferably power distribution (essential)Knowledge of relevant technical xjdpvnf regulations and standards (essential) (i.e. BS 7671, BS EN 60204, BS EN 62305, BS EN 61000)Major infrastructure projects (desirable)Nuclear (desirable)ExpectationsUK national, able to get SC (can start on BPSS)Degree qualified chartered engineer (or significant relevant experience)Location: Plymouth (hybrid)Duration: Long term (12mths+)
