Ideal Recruit is currently looking for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established client based in Bedford. This is a full time opportunity with guaranteed shifts and consistent work. Job details: Nationwide store deliveries across the UK. Average of 34 drops per shift (palletised goods loading and unloading required) Experience with refrigerated units preferred. We have both Permanent and long term agency positions available, on the following shift patterns: PERMANENT OR AGENCY - 4 ON, 4 OFF TRAMPING (Start Window between 01:00-02:00 OR 11:00-12:00) PERMANENT OR AGENCY - Sun-Thu, Tue-Sat or Thu/Fri-Mon (2 hour start window between 01:00-18:00) Permanent Pay Rates: Monday-Friday 18.69ph Weekend 21.31ph Plus 10.00 tax free meal allowance per day 26.20 night out allowance Agency Pay Rates: Monday to Friday: 19.61ph (or 21.98 inc holiday) Saturday and Sunday: 22.31ph (or 25.00 inc holiday) 26.20 night out allowance Requirements: Assessment required before starting. Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence. Minimum 12 months of experience as a Class 1 driver. Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor endorsements only).
