There is a strong focus on energy-efficient and renewable solutions, supporting modern, sustainable building projects.Operating across a wide range of environments, the company works on projects including commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and public sector developments, offering both technical expertise and full lifecycle project delivery.JOB PURPOSEDue to continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts Manager to be based at the company's head office in Cirencester.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of mechanical and electrical engineers, overseeing multiple projects across the South West and South East, and ensuring successful delivery from inception through to completion.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESThe role will focus on the full project management of mechanical services installation contracts, from initial handover through to final account agreement.Key duties include:Procurement of plant, materials, and subcontractor packages, ensuring best valueManaging and forecasting project spend using internal systems and ExcelPlanning and controlling labour resources and associated costsConducting regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and programme adherenceDelivering projects in line with contractual targets and timelinesPreparing monthly applications for payment and pricing variationsEnsuring Risk Assessments and Method Statements are in place and H&S is adhered toProducing work-in-progress and performance reports for senior managementLiaising with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to maintain strong relationshipsAttending project and technical meetingsSupporting tender submissions where requiredCompiling certification and O&M manualsResponding to client requirements and maintaining high levels of customer satisfactionSKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREDProven experience managing mechanical installation projects (1.5m+)Strong background in commercial, industrial, or public sector environmentsSolid understanding of Mechanical Services Project ManagementGood xjdpvnf technical knowledge of HVAC systemsCommercially aware with strong financial management capabilityStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication (written and verbal)Organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a teamAnalytical and methodical approach to problem solvingProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)CAD experience (desirable but not essential)SALARY & BENEFITS60,000 - 65,000 (DOE) + Annual Bonus4,500 Car Allowance25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (increasing with service)Annual performance-related bonusMobile phone & laptopOn-site parkingAPPLICATIONFor more information, please contact Clare on or apply directly to this advert to arrange a confidential discussion.
