This is a hands-on leadership role within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, ideal for someone with strong supervisory experience and a commitment to food safety and quality standards.You will oversee a fruit packing line , ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, efficiency, and product quality. You will lead by example, motivate your team, and ensure all packing targets and customer requirements are consistently achieved.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate packing line staff to ensure an efficient workflowLead, motivate, and support your team to meet daily packing targetsHands-on packing of fresh produce when requiredEnsure all orders are accurate and completed on timeMonitor and maintain correct and effective packaging of produceMinimise waste of fruit and packaging materialsMaintain and continuously improve BRC and food safety standards across the siteEnsure full compliance with Food Hygiene, HACCP, Health & Safety, GDPR, Environmental Health, Modern Slavery, and HR policiesTrain and support team members on packing processes, safety procedures, and operational standardsPromote a positive, flexible, and can-do team environmentRequirementsPrevious Team Leader experience within an industrial environmentPrevious experience working in a food manufacturing environment (essential)Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety regulationsConfident leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse workforceExcellent attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environmentMust be able to driveMust have the right to work in the UK and hold a valid work visa xjdpvnf where applicableWorking HoursRota basis, working 5 days per week between Monday and Sunday07:30am 5:00pmOccasional 8:00pm finishes will be required to meet business needsAdditional InformationFruit packing operates 7 days a week and is seasonal, therefore flexibility is essentialFamily-run, multicultural workplace with a supportive and inclusive atmosphereBenefits & PerksCompany pensionFree on-site parkingChristmas and Summer staff eventsMonthly treats such as pizza days, burger vans, and Easter eggsWeekly free fruit to take home for you and your familySupportive team environmentApply now for more information.
