This role is fast-paced, dynamic, extremely varied and challenging, however also very rewarding for someone who enjoys working with other like-minded, hard working people. Plant operators operate and maintain machines and equipment in industrial plants or on construction sites. Key tasks ranges from operating the plants control system, operating mobile plants and undertaking light maintenance tasks including housekeeping dutiesAbout the roleOther elements of the role include:Weighing vehicles in and out of our weighbridge and producing relevant documentation with correct order numbers in placeMixing consistently excellent material using the Plant Computer.Carry out pre-start checks on fixed and mobile plant and ensure that it is safe to operateTo carry out routine maintenance including greasing / visual inspections as per the scheduleOperating the Loading shovel inclusive of fork attachmentsWhat will you bring?Excellent communication and customer service skillsStrong IT literacyFlexibility with work hours and willing to work weekendThe desire for training and willingness to learnYou will need to develop a sound appreciation of Health & Safety, housekeeping and environmental regulationsAsphalt experience is desirable.Experience driving a mobile and a fixed plant is a plus. xjdpvnf We are committed to building a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
