This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and skilled operative with a strong background in landscaping and grounds maintenance.The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high standard of grounds maintenance and landscaping across the site, ensuring all external areas are maintained safely, efficiently, and to specification.Key ResponsibilitiesCarrying out all aspects of lawn care, including mowing, fertilising, moss control and reseedingPlant, shrub and tree maintenance, including planting, pruning, pest and insect control, and feedingMaintaining paved and decked areas through pressure washing, cleaning, algaecide treatment, sealing and oilingCompleting soft landscaping duties such as turfing, planting flower beds and shrubs, mulching, barking, weed control, hedge trimming and strimmingOperating and maintaining irrigation and water systemsSafe operation and routine maintenance of tools and machinery, including mowers, blowers, hedge trimmers, long-arm trimmers, scarifiers, pressure washers and wood chippersFollowing written maintenance plans and schedules for weekly and seasonal tasksAdhering to all Health & Safety requirements, including the safe use of vehicles, equipment and machineryEnsuring full compliance with relevant legislation, including waste management regulationsRequirementsProven experience within grounds maintenance or landscapingFull UK driving licence (essential)Strong understanding of Health & Safety practicesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable, hardworking and detail-focused approachWhat You'll GetCompetitive pay of 16.00 per hour PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay)Ongoing work on a high-quality siteSupport from a dedicated Hays consultantIf you're interested in this role and have the relevant experience, apply now or contact Hays for more information. xjdpvnf Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
