A minimum of 5+ years of consultancy experienceReady to make your application Please do read through the description at least once before clicking on Apply.A degree or HND in Civil EngineeringIncorporated Engineer (IEng) [or working towards] with the Institution of Civil EngineersDrainage Design experience (including SuDS)Experienced user of InfoDrainage, Causeway Flow, or MicroDrainageExperienced in the preparation of technical reports (I.e. Flood Risk Assessments)Proficient in AutoCAD and Site 3D or equivalent 3D softwareCivil Engineering project management experience including projects combining drainage, external works and highways elementsExperience in client managementRepresenting the company at in-person and virtual project meetingsDesirable:Line management experienceHighways design experience (S278, S38)Experience working on development projectsExperience preparing fee proposalsVaried experience working on schemes through the planning process from pre-app through to condition dischargeBusiness development experienceRole Specific RequirementsWork within a Civil Engineering design team responsible for the design of drainage systems, highway layouts, and S278/S38 schemesWork in a design office, with regular exposure to developers, architects and local authoritiesUndertake and manage team resource for design work for:Drainage systems in accordance with Sewers for Adoption, building regulations and the SuDS ManualOn and off-site highway features, in accordance with the xjdpvnf appropriate standards and codes e.g. Design Manual for Roads and Bridges, and Manual for StreetsProficient in AutoCAD and Site 3D or equivalent 3D softwareHave knowledge of and willing to learn other engineering softwareRepresenting the company at in-person and virtual project meetingsMentoring and training of junior staffLine management experience including undertaking of appraisals, identification of training and ensuring performance of junior team members
