Fire & Security Engineer ( Service / Remedials)Please read the information in this job post thoroughly to understand exactly what is expected of potential candidates.Location: North Somerset (all work within 45 mins- 1 hour of base)Salary: 38,000-42,000 basic + OT 1.5x + on-call payments ( 1 in 8 , 185)Hours: Mon-Fri, 08:00-17:00Contract: Permanent, Full-timeIdeally candidate will live no more than 30- 45 mins from main officeThe RoleWe're looking for a multi-disciplined Fire & Security Engineer (Grade 3) to join a growing business in North Somerset, Bristol. This is mainly service and remedial work role , with a strong focus on planned preventive maintenance (PPM)-no long-distance travel and no overnight stays.What you'll be doingCarrying out service, remedial and PPM visits across fire and security systemsWorking on systems including intruder alarms, fire alarms, access control and CCTV (IP & analogue)Ensuring works meet relevant British Standards and NSI requirementsAccurately completing job paperwork / updates via CRM/PDATaking part in an on-call rota (1 in 8)What we're looking forTime served engineer and/or IPAFECS (or CSCS) cardFIA qualified (preferred not essential)Ideally multi-disciplined across Fire & SecurityGood IT/admin ability (MS Office / job systems) and strong customer serviceFull UK driving licence xjdpvnf Pay, on-call & benefitsBasic: 38k-42kOn-call: 1 in 8, with max average 1 call-out per weekOn-call payment: 185 per week when on-callPaid door-to-door (travel time paid)Overtime: time and a half after hoursCompany van provided25 days holiday (plus bank holidays, if applicable)Power tools provided
