This is a key strategic role where you'll act as the go-to expert for fire safety and estates-focused health and safety matters.The Health and Safety Manager (Fire & Estates) responsibilities include:Lead and manage specialist fire, estates, and project safety servicesProvide expert advice on fire safety, asbestos management, CDM regulations, facilities management and construction safetyDevelop and coordinate our approach to fire safety legislation and fire risk managementPromote and support a positive, proactive safety cultureWork closely with teams across the organisation, offering guidance, training and supportOversee compliance activities, audits, incident investigations and continuous improvement workThe successful Health and Safety Manager will have:Level 6 Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent)Level 4 Fire Safety qualificationThird-party certification as a Fire Risk Assessor or AuditorAsbestos Management P405 (desirable)A solid understanding of health and safety management systems and fire safety legislation (including BS9999 and Approved Document B)If you are interested in the role, please contact Chrissie at the Derby office.
