As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will provide commercial support to senior surveying staff on one or a number of projects to ensure that projects are procured, delivered within budget and to the highest quality whilst exceeding our customers' expectations.An Assistant Quantity Surveyor will provided with support.This is a full time permanent role working Monday to Friday, free onsite parking.The CustomerThis will be working on the Lincolnshire Housing Partnership (LHP) contract.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssistant Quantity Surveyor duties and responsibilities will include the following:Ensure the company secures its full entitlement within the parameters of the ContractInput of timely and accurate information, including direct operative and subcontractor/supplier information and the application of the schedule of ratesCost allocation of purchase orders and invoices including checking against order valuesMonitoring and analysis of management information relating to material and subcontractor spendSupporting the SQS in the preparation and timely reporting of information including: Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR), Cost Value Comparison (CVC) and management accounts, providing governance of budgets through robust cost controlOnboarding suppliers, this will include overseeing subcontractor order complianceMaintain a high quality telephone mannerProvide direct support to the commercial management functionWhat You Will NeedEssential criteria:Excellent numeracy and organisation skillUse data interrogation skillsExcellent IT knowledge (office suite).
