BirminghamAn established, privately owned multi-disciplinary consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing M&E team.This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a business known for delivering complex, large-scale development and infrastructure projects across the UK. The company operates at the forefront of design, offering integrated consultancy services across a wide range of sectors including residential, commercial, education, regeneration and mixed-use developments.You'll be joining a forward-thinking environment where autonomy is encouraged, innovation is valued, and engineers are trusted to make a real impact from day one.The Role As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality building services solutions across a diverse project portfolio.Responsibilities include:Producing electrical building services designs including calculations, specifications and drawingsDesigning systems such as power, lighting, containment and life safetySupporting projects from concept through to detailed design and deliveryCarrying out surveys and reporting on existing electrical systemsPreparing tender documentation and supporting procurement processesAssisting with contract administration and project coordination during constructionAttending site and undertaking witnessing/commissioning activitiesCollaborating closely with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teamsAbout YouDegree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building ServicesStrong experience in electrical design within the built environmentProficient with AutoCAD (Revit experience beneficial)Working towards or already CharteredFull UK driving licenceWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary (DOE)5% bonus (paid quarterly)5% employer pension contributionPrivate healthcareHybrid & flexible workingClear and structured career progression pathwayOpportunity to work on high-profile, complex UK projectsA genuinely supportive, collaborative and non-corporate environmentWhy Apply?
