Lead Engineer (Healthcare Environment)Permanent | 37.5 Hours per WeekPlease ensure you read the below overview and requirements for this employment opportunity completely.Salary: Up to 45,000 per annum(Dependent on experience, training, and qualifications)We are recruiting for an experienced Lead Engineer to join a healthcare facility, providing technical leadership and ensuring compliance across the site.Key RequirementsMinimum Level 3 qualification (Electrical or Mechanical)CSCS or ECS cardBackground in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (Plumbing & Heating), or Multi-Skilled EngineeringExperience in a healthcare, FM, or compliance-driven environment preferredRole & ResponsibilitiesMonday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day, with flexibility required to support operational needs (including early starts or late finishes around theatre schedules)Occasional weekend work to support reactive repairs or capital projects (paid as overtime or taken as time in lieu)Participation in an on-call rota (typically 1 in 4 weeks) covering multiple sites135 per week on-call allowance, plus payment for call-outsResponsibility for hospital compliance, xjdpvnf planning reactive repairs, and overseeing on-site contractors for servicing and breakdownsActing as a point of escalation for engineering issues and supporting junior engineers where requiredStandard working hours typically 8am4pm or 9am5pmTraining will be provided in specialist areas including medical gases, legionella management, and contractor management.
