The role will involve machine setup, machining operations, and quality inspection to ensure all components meet required specifications.Key ResponsibilitiesOperating manual lathes to produce precision-engineered componentsReading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD modelsCarrying out grinding, milling, and assembly tasks where requiredSetting up machines and adjusting tooling to maintain accuracy and efficiencyPerforming quality inspections using measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometersMaintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulationsRequirementsProven experience operating manual lathes within a machining or engineering environmentStrong understanding of machining processes and toolingAbility to read and interpret technical engineering drawingsExperience using hand tools and workshop machineryGood numerical skills and attention xjdpvnf to detail for precision workA proactive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a teamThis is a full time, permanent position working Monday-Friday with an early finish at the end of the week.
