Residential Care Practitioner Childrens Residential Homes (Derby) We are currently recruiting for Residential Care Practitioners to join our childrens residential homes in Derby , supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs in a safe and supportive environment. Salary & Benefits Salary: From 37,275.89 (increase after successful 6-month probation) Annual leave: 360 hours per year Structured rota for work-life balance Ongoing training and development opportunities Role Overview You will provide day-to-day care and support to young people, helping to create a stable, positive environment that promotes their development and wellbeing. Key Requirements Must hold one of the following: Level 4 Children, Young People & Families Practitioner Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care Minimum 1 year experience working with children (not early years) Experience in residential care or youth work (EBD experience advantageous) Full UK driving licence (essential) Working Pattern Approx. 56.5 hours per week (including sleep-ins) Shift pattern: 08:0023:00 + sleep Morning handover the following day (08:0008:30) 3-week rolling rota Approx. 10 shifts per month Includes training and team meetings (approx. 244.5 hours/month total) If you are committed to supporting young people and making a real difference, we encourage you to apply.
