As a HVAC Installation Engineer at Emtec Climate Solutions, youll be responsible for delivering high-quality installation and commissioning of HVAC systems in commercial and industrial environments.All potential applicants are encouraged to scroll through and read the complete job description before applying.Youll work on installation projects involving splits, VRV/F systems, chillers, heat pumps, AHUs, and close control units, taking jobs from preparation through to full handover.This is a field based role across Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Greater Liverpool, and may require occasional overnight stays across nationwide locations.This position also requires an Enhanced DBS check to be completed.What youll be doing:Install, test and commission HVAC systems including splits, VRV/VRF, chillers, heat pumps and ventilation unitsWork from technical drawings and specifications to deliver installations to required quality standardsSupport site surveys and pre-start planning to ensure projects run smoothlyCoordinate tools, materials, suppliers and subcontractors to keep projects on scheduleWork closely with Project Managers, customers and site teams to ensure efficient deliveryComplete works within agreed timeframes and budgetsProvide technical updates and maintain accurate records, certifications and timesheetsRecommend improvements to system performance where appropriateMaintain a professional presence on-site and follow all health & safety procedures including RAMS and permitsWhat were looking for:Proven experience in installing and testing HVAC systems from start to finishStrong diagnostic and problem solving skills in live environmentsAbility to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprintsUnderstanding of Health and Safety and Compliance regulationsA basic understanding of electrics and controls would be advantageous, however full training will be providedEssential qualifications required:Possession of a valid CSCS cardFull UK driving licenceF-Gas Category 1qualification (City & Guilds 2079 or equivalent)NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration and Air ConditioningCITB Pipework and BrazingWhat we offer:Overtime opportunities25 days annual leave + bank holidaysHealth cash plan and death in serviceCompany pension schemeCompany vehicle, fuel card and all tools/equipment providedFull uniform and PPETablet/laptop and digital systems for job managementAbout Emtec Climate Solutions:Emtec Climate Solutions is a growing HVAC specialist based in Warrington, delivering service, maintenance, and installation solutions to clients across the UK.
