Freight Forwarding SpecialistThe following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.Location: Shipley, West Yorkshire Salary: Up to 30,000 Job Type: Full Time / Permanent An established and well-regarded freight forwarding business is seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to join its Agency / Imports team. This role is key to maintaining high service levels for overseas agents and import clients while supporting internal sales and operational teams.Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day communication with overseas agents and import customersHandle customer queries via phone and email, including shared inbox managementObtain rates and prepare quotations and service optionsProcess bookings and maintain accurate records using CargoWise and internal systemsLiaise with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and overseas partnersPrepare, check, and issue shipping documentation, including Bills of LadingEnsure accuracy of data entry and compliance with operational proceduresProactively resolve operational issues and customer queriesSupport internal sales teams by delivering a high standard of operational serviceRequired Experience: Previous experience in freight forwarding operations (import/export)Strong customer service and relationship management skillsConfident IT skills; CargoWise experience highly regardedWR Logistics are the #1 recruitment partner for all vacancies in the logistics industry.
